Internal security, vigilance and law & order in India will help defeat terrorism. Talks with Pakistan won’t. They why talk? Because of the changes in the American Af-Pak strategy.
The combination of circumstances & diplomacy has made Pakistan significantly important. Post US exit, India will scramble to maintain its interests in Afghanistan & risks reenvigorating jihad in Kashmir. Consequently, it makes sense to explore the option of limited dialog now, however unpopular it may be.
