How do i find a list of the companies traded in the Asian stock markets?

Question by camusmaxim: How do i find a list of the companies traded in the Asian stock markets?
I know this sounds like a very easy question to answer myself but I have tried many different search engines and words in those engines but i can not seem to find an actual list of companies for these markets like the Heng Sang and others.

why do some publicly traded companies pay out dividends and others do not?

is it certain public companies in certain sectors or areas of business? and if so why is this?

No sector doesn’t matter, a company may be either profitable or not. If not then no money for dividends. If profitable then it may be expanding therefore no dividends, not expanding then extra cash for dividends.

Can publicly traded companies sell options on their own shares?

It would seem like a good way for companies to raise cash. Suppose the stock is trading at $ 20.50. They could sell $ 22.50 calls, and if the stock so rises, then just issue new stock. This does presume they have authorized and unissued stock, but that should be an easy enough hurdle to pass if the company is looking to raise cash.
