Question by jagbizkit12: How can I get a job with a professional sports team?
I have 3 years of fulfilling customer service and computer training under my belt since graduating from Northeastern University, but I am at a loss on how to break into professional sports. Living in the greater Boston area, any job with the Red Sox, Patriots, Bruins or Celtics would certainly receive thousands of applicants, making it virtually impossible to stand out. Sports are my greatest passion, everything from statistical analysis to blogging about my opinions, but the field is virtually impenetrable. TeamWork online is a great site that sends me job openings across the country in various professional sport departments, but even with the submission of my resume and hours spent perfecting my cover letter, I always end up with an automated response rejection email. Does anyone have any advice or experience that could shed some light on breaking into the industry?

I have a group interview with Virgin America to become an Airport Team Member (Customer Service) which looks like a job I would like to do.
Anyone done the interview for this type of job?
Do you know what I can expect at the interview?
Grateful if you would say if you have done it and/or if you know anyone else who has … ?

The interview format is four hours group and a possible face to face if one progeresses through the day and isn’t cut

I was a Customer Service Agent for a major airline, but my interview was in 1963, and I don’t remember it much.
When you are being interviewed, tell your honest feelings, the way that you really feel, not what you may think someone wants to hear.
To dress for the interview, get rid of any body piercings, dress neatly in a dress shirt, ironed pants, and shined shoes. No jeans, tennis shoes, or t-shirts. You want to appear clean and neat. No dirty fingernails or hands.

Resonance Racing triumphant at SUPRA SAE 2011 competition held at Madras Motorsports Racing Track.Chennai was experiencing some serious motorsports action over the last one week, with 46 teams from all corners of the country, for one of the biggest competitions held at the undergraduate level. The competition involved designing, fabricating and validating a Formula style open wheel race car. The competition, organized by Maruti Suzuki Motor Sport and SAE India was held over four days with a multitude of static and dynamic events. The team from AISSMS COE (Resonance Racing) emerged as the overall champions in the event with strong performances in all the events.
Assuming I have 6000 USD, is it possible that I can team up with some businessmen to create one big business?

www.greenteam.org.uk The Green Team is a natural resource conservation group based in the City of Edinburgh, Scotland consisting entirely of volunteers who give up their time, volunteering for the conservation and sustainability of our wild places in and around the Lothians which includes the areas around Edinburgh, Midlothian and East Lothian. The groups main body of volunteering is by young people, aged 14-25 who come along on various day and weekend projects going green green to save the environment through volunteer work who learn about the natural heritage, environmental issues as well as the importance of protecting our environment and recycling.
