As a side comment I once asked a person I knew, who traveled to the east if he had ever been to Cashmere. He replied yes often when ever he lights his bong and turns on Led Zeppelin. That was the end of our friendship.

Shahid talks about his relationship with Priyanka

Withrespected names such as Vishal Bhardwaj, Gulzar, Ronie Screwvala and UTV, it is obvious that the project gets associated with huge expectations and craze even before its release. And if it also has a great energetic track, capable of bringing out all the hidden madness in you (Dhan Tan Nan), then the movie is destined to see long queues of cinema lovers at the box office window. Vishal Bharadwajs film Kaminey tells the story of two twin brothers who hate and avoid each other like plague until life makes their paths cross. The movie stars Shahid Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra and Amole Gupte in lead roles. The movie is a typical Vishal Bharadwaj brand of cinema. The characters are devoid of any glamour. Even the locations are rustic and hard hitting. The locations like Goregoan Station, Wadi Bunder and Kandivali junkyards and many such locations of Mumbai and Pune too add to the rawness in the film. Kaminey is one film of its kind and the fans of Shahid Kapoor are definitely going in for a surprise! Vishal Bharadwaj’s ‘Kaminey’ has the actor in a character that’s completely opposite his image, hard-hitting and raw! After delivering solo 3 hits in a row, Shahid will again will be seen in one more solo starrer ‘Kaminey’, which the industry feel is quite commendable. Keeping the entire mood of the story in mind, Shahid has a look of a guy who is absolutely raw, hard and tough. This is for the first time that Shahid will be seen playing this kind of a character. It is in complete

Do you think indo-pak talks are really going to help?!?

This is a very serious issue. India i think is in a helpless situation. It was recently announced that there were going to be new talks in indo-pak and then BOOM, we go through Pune blasts. Everytime we have talk, india goes through blasts and innocent people are killed. Atal bihari started a bus service from amritsar to lahore, hoping that the relations will improve. And in months kargil happened. then in 2006, train blasts in mumbai. In 2008, 26/11 happened. pakistan wasn’t ready to even accept that ajmal kasab was pak citizen, untill USA forced them by threatning to declare pak a terrorist country. Now we are going to talk again after 26/11 and pune blasts. Now we all know which terrorist organisations are behind these blasts and who are helping them from that side of the border. My question is this, are these talks really going to help? We’ve been talking since last 20 yrs and almost no improvement has happened. I am as a citizen so much frustrated because india is in a helpless situation. We can’t attack or cannot back down. What do we do? According to me these talks are not going to help at all. These attacks will keep on happening. So the solution is to focus on your internal security. Have strict rules. Make strict punishments. Those terrorists who are caught, the cases on them shouldn’t carried on under IPC. We have to make seperate laws for terrorists. Those who are caught and found guilty must be given death punishments. The locals who help them, should undergo the same punishment. We should learn from western countries, how do they tackle their internal security problems. I mean as compared to USA or UK, our police look like 20-30 yrs backwards. We don’t have SWAT, police don’t respond in 3 mins as in USA when u dial 911. Infrastructure is so LAME and BACKWARDS. I read in newspaper the other day that most of the police don’t even have charged batteries in their walkie-talkies. How are we going to stop terrorism? I don’t think they are going to stop coming to india just by talks. They will keep on coming, we have to focus on our internal security. what do you think about this? Also ppl from other countries, what do u think about this?
