The best way is to call a clean out company in another region and see what they did.
A friend of my son said he had several areas tied up and I’m sure they sub it all out.
If you see someone advertising in your area, ask if they need help.

And advertise locally for rental clean outs

Is it acceptable to telephone outsourced customer service centers to talk about the local culture?

Question by Eva: Is it acceptable to telephone outsourced customer service centers to talk about the local culture?
I would like to learn more about India from people who live there. Is it acceptable to ring up customer service and ask the technician in India about his country?

They’re being paid to handle the company’s business not chat about life in India. You’d probably get them fired.

I can’t talk to people at my new customer service job, what can I do to prepare myself for the anxiety?

Question by noMOREshines: I can’t talk to people at my new customer service job, what can I do to prepare myself for the anxiety?
I have worked in a customer service job before but it’s been nearly a year, and during this time i have been at home and interacted with anyone as little as possible. I can however talk to strangers but I feel so nervous at work and my last job of held for nearly ten years. How can I avoid the anxiety or prepare myself for it or get rid of it? Will it go away? I’m so scared, quitting is not an option that’s the furthest thing from my mind just seeking advice.

Answer by Kristina
Hello,
First of all take a deep breath and relax! You are human, everyone experiences fears and anxiety at times. If you dwell on the fear or anxiety you are going to keep attracting it to you. You need to realize you are not alone, other people experience this. You CAN get through this, and yes it can go away! One of the techniques i was told is to imagine in your head how you would like your situation to be ie, I would see myself interacting with others with confidence and security, knowing the right things to say. Keep focusing on what you do want, and when your attention goes back to the fear or anticipated anxiety, bring it back to thoughts of how you want it to be. Ignore the voice in your head that says that will never happen, I can’t do that. Focus back on how you would like you and the situation to be. When you focus on a good outcome, it relaxes you and you feel better. When you focus your attention on the fear and anxiety it DOES NOT make you feel good! Keep your attention on how you want it to be. Train your mind and you will retrain your thinking and in turn with change your response and actions. You will gain confidence and the ability to interact with others. You would be surprised how many people feel the same way you do, and when you start talking to them you will find that out. YOU CAN DO THIS!!!

Who would I talk to in this business scenario?

Question by S: Who would I talk to in this business scenario?
In my English class I have to come up with a business scenario. Mine is that I’m working in a software company, and I am recommending a change of programming languages. I have to present this to the class as if I was doing it in real life. For this kind of proposal, who should the audience be? A programming team? The board of directors?

Best answer:

Answer by David S
I would say the programming team, Chief Tech. Officer, and company controller.

Programming team are the ones who the change would effect the most.

CTO since it is under his umbrella of responsibilities to the Board of Directors

Controller to give them an understanding why the company needs to spend money on this

Why does the US corporate media rarely, if ever, talk about the problem of labor being offshored?

Question by S O: Why does the US corporate media rarely, if ever, talk about the problem of labor being offshored?
All we seem to hear about on the corporate news (Fox, MSNBC, CNN, ABC… take your pick), is talk simply about “high unemployment,” with little if any mention of one of the biggest reasons behind it, which seems to be that the US has been hemorrhaging jobs to China and India for decades. Could it be that there might be a pro-corporate “bias” in our mainstream media (which is just as significant, if not more so, as any left wing or right wing bias that we pretty much all know exists)?

Walgreens is one of the latest:
Source: Economic Times of India

8 Jan 2010, 0300 hrs IST, ET Bureau

NEW DELHI: US’ largest drugstore chain Walgreens on Thursday announced a 10-year outsourcing deal with India’s BPO provider Genpact.

As part of the contract, Walgreens will shift its accounting processes and jobs to Genpact, a move that will involve transfer of at least 500 jobs.

This is Genpact’s fourth-large deal in past three months, signaling a gradual bounce back in the global BPO business market
Capitalist and proud – This is a problem that has been created by people who spread the exact same myth’s that you are expousing here. My problem is with the Reaganomics, “Free Market” folks who either don’t give a dam about this country if they can make a few extra bucks, are the majority who are buying into this nonsense and as a result contributing to the selling the US out without even realizing it.

Seems simple doesn’t it. We need jobs…but keep sending them to other countries….hmmmm??? I don’t think it takes a genius to figure out the solution. F the corporations…tax them to hell if they outsource.
