Question by Zoe: What kind of computer do you think is best for a college student. What software should I get?
I’m a freshman and college and have been using the same laptop since 8th grade. I’m wanting a new one and am trying to decide on what to get. My mom said she’d get it for me for my birthday. I was thinking of getting the Mac Air because it’s so lightweight but all my software is for a PC. What kind of laptop do you have, what software is on it?

Well, I am just in my first year of university and for university I bought a mac book pro. I personally love it. It’s light, and the battery power is awesome. I would definitely recommend a mac.
I would also recommend checking to see if your college has an electronics/computer store. The university I go to has one, and I got an awesome deal. I got like a printer, paper, ipod touch, mac book, the microsoft software, and a few other things for only $ 1500.

If I understand you correctly, you want to put an “Objective” section at the top of your resume listing your work objectives. Generally speaking, that’s not the sort of thing that’s really necessary anymore. It eats up space and is almost never impressive, compelling, or even relevant to most employers. Don’t bother!

While an executive may be any corporate “officer” — including presidents, vice presidents, and other upper-level managers — in any company, the source of most comment and controversy is the pay of chief executive officers (CEOs) of large publicly-held firms. In most publicly traded firms in the US, there are no controlling shareholders, and management and ownership are separate, creating what economists call a “principal–agent problem,” where upper-management (the “agent”) has different interests, and considerably more information, than shareholders (the “principals”).[1] Ideally, an executive’s pay is the product of “arm’s length” negotiation between the executive attempting to get the best possible deal for him/her self, and the board of directors seeking a deal that best serves the shareholders[2], rewarding executive performance without costing too much, and taking into account government regulations and tax law[3]. The compensation is typically a mixture of salary, bonuses, equity compensation (stock options, etc.), benefits, and perquisites. It often has surprising …
