Question by InterestedObserver: Call center jobs through temp services?
If you have years of recent call center experience, is it difficult to find a temp job via a staffing agency in a call center? I’m just looking for some temporary work as I soon to be laid off. I realize the pay is relatively low, but I’m the type who thinks I could really prove myself through a temp-to-perm type scenario. Anybody else having trouble finding work like this in temp agencies? I see the ads on careerbuilders, but I hear there’s like 500 resumes for every opening out there.

With today’s economy 500 resumes isn’t much. Try Careerboard.com or Monster.com or hotjobs.com.

Question by me: Why are start-up computer companies reluctant to issue stock (equity) in lieu of cash for services?
I own a consulting company and offer my clients the option of partial payment in stock in lieu of cash for my services. I like to invest in startups that I believe will go public and it gives me a vested interest in their success. Most companies, however are reluctant to take this option and prefer to pay all cash. Why is this?

Is it legal if I create several different companies, that all offer the same services, just different types of pricings to potential customers within the market?

Absolutely, it is called marketing.
You may find it cheaper and easier to have one corporation and have several DBA’s or divisions. You would only have one set of paper work to complete for reporting and taxation purposes.
