Question by Shari S: Interview questions for Disney Reservations call center position?
It’s always hard to know what to expect when going in interviews– and preparation can make all the difference.

I have a phone interview, what are some of the typical questions that are asked in regards to working for the Disney reservations call center?

How does the Hilton hotel reservations “Work at Home” call center job work?

Question by Starry9281: How does the Hilton hotel reservations “Work at Home” call center job work?
I used to work at a Hilton reservations call center a long time ago and I remember it being a decent job so I decided to look into working for them again. The closest call center is a little over an hour away (not including traffic)! Then I read on their website that they have work at home jobs for their Dallas and Tampa locations. This would be perfect for me HOWEVER it says you have to live in a particular area code to apply. Like I said before, I do live in the general area of one of these call centers and I do know people who live in that area code.

My question is why does the area code matter? Do they want to make sure you live close enough for training? Do you need a working landline with that area code in order to receive the phone calls? Would I be able to give them my friend’s address and phone number to apply and get the job and then work out the details later? Anyone who has done this or has knowledge of this, please let me know how it works!!

Each call center company will have different restrictions as to location, some don’t have any at all. There are many companies out there so don’t limit yourself to this one if you don’t meet their requirements. If you go to http://workathomedesk.com/directory/virtual-call-centre-jobs.htm you find a good comprehensive list of legitimate virtual call center companies. I would suggest you apply to several at one time. I would also reccommend West At Home. I would with them previously and they are an excellent company to work for. Your friends would probably just need to apply to that hilton job on there own.

Good luck!
