I am a resident of India, I was employed by a BPO Company (call center) incorporated in India till last month I have worked there for almost 8 yrs. This BPO Company had one Client a US Company the owner of which was also the owner of the Indian Company.
In 2010 He made me a Profit Sharing partner in his US firm. I accepted this offer via my official email ID. (Yes I have the email conversation). The 2011 Profit sharing was to be paid by May 15th 2012 But has not been paid yet, He last month declared an amount which seemed very low when asked for accounting I was shut down and terminated from the Indian company. My attempts to resolve this issue with him has been totally unsuccessful. He at one time suggested getting a re-audit but asked me to keep a deposit stating that the profit would come even less and aasked me to bear half the cost of the Audit. I agreed to the Audit and informed him that will bear the cost for the audit if he is right if not he would have to pay me back with interest and Penalty. His responded by telling me to take it or lose it. Since then communications have come to a stop. I still have not received the 2011 Profit sharing or the 2012 Profit sharing. by my calculations this amount should be minimum of $ 20000.
I need to know since Email is considered a Written agreement. Do I have a Case against the US firm? And will this fall under Contract Law? I would like to file a suit to recover my dues owing to me plus interest and punitive damages if possible.

You need to contact a corporate lawyer versed in international law.
You will need one to pursue a suit against your business partner so you may as well start now with this question.

I work at an office in Ohio where we operate five separate online-based companies that are governed by a “main” company located in Seattle, Washington. For all five companies, we have Seattle addresses and phone numbers (that are different than the “main” company) even though the office I work at is in Ohio. Which state labor laws is my company required to follow?
Again, although my company is in Ohio, we (as well as the main company) are listed as a Seattle business

All of them, the company although not centrally based in your state, is still bound by State and Federal laws.

I am an IT professional, and as such, a good share of the things I’m expected to do at my job, I’m expected to already know.
Almost everywhere that I’ve worked however, it’s usually up to me, the person’s boss, a co-worker who has a similar job, or the person who is being replaced to cover training necessary for any technology training. If a new piece of software is being rolled out that nobody (or very few people) in the company is familiar with, we’ve also hired consultants (sometimes provided by the tech vendor) to come in and have a training session.

Firstly I’d check everything you just wrote. If you sent what you have just written to them you’d never get the job.
Something along the lines of…
Dear sir/madam (their name if you know it is better),
I am writing to enquire as to whether you have any opportunities available for an internship in your offices.

I would require work for 1 year, (put in some details here, or say I have enclosed details from my college, outlining the requirements).

A job I’m applying for mentions a required gpa of 3.0. I don’t know how to interpret this, whether it is overall or major. My overall (3.2) is a lot higher than my major gpa (2.8), is it deceiving if I only list my overall gpa on my resume? Also, when a company lists required gpa of 3.0, does this mean overall or major gpa? Thanks!

I know that drug companies have to list side effects that come with the medications. But why do they go all into the side effects on tv ads? Not that I am a supporter or anything. If they are required to do this I want to know more about who is making these regulations, if they arent why would they list all the bad stuff about their products? they are selling a product. is it like a disclaimer to prevent lawsuits?

Yes there are legal requirements. They may have changed but they used to be that if they gave both the name of the drug and what it treated they had to give the side effects as well.
You used to see commercials for a drug that would say something like, “If you have happy feet disease there is a new drug from DrugCo. Talk to your doctor.” That add didn’t have to list the side effects.

Hi experienced people…. Hope you all fine… I m a student, studying finance & business management and accounting…. As we know,, for business use,, there are many softwares in the markets, which keeps all the data, and makes invoices, Purchase orders, purchase requests, quotations, delivery notes etc. I viewed that different well-known companies use these softwares and enter all their data (like products, contacts, staff names, etc) in the software to recall them at the time they need them. Respected readers! I have planned to establish an Establishment in future years. So, I have (kidding-ly 
designed all the above mentioned documents in MS-Office, but now I want all these designs (formats) to be in that a software i am asking for. The question is.. which is the best and easy to use software for these purposes with most common options? I just want to learn how it works? iWuld be grateful if you suggest me the link to download full registered version (Including Help features also). It would be a great help in my study.. Electricity bill or receipt of property tax — one for each of the last 10
years since 1993
School leaving certificate/interim LC
Ration card

because they would require you to use them to type letters and make/ fill in spreadsheets for a wide variety of reasons.
