Best answer:
Answer by RuneAmok
Feed them wet grainless foods and keep dry food out of the picture as much as possible.
Grainless commercial canned foods are good, but raw feeding is best. The closer you can get to a species appropriate food, the better.
That does the trick for most cats.

you could tell them what you can about the company knowledge database, remind them that it wasn’t your fault and you are just helping them, and that you are sorry for their problem and will relay the information to the appropriate people.

Question by cutekara34: Why does my computer get tons pop ups from anti-virus software companies every second. How do I prevent this?
When I click on the advertisement it tells me I have to pay for it to clean my computer, and says I have a the black trojan virus. My computer doesn’t even operate because these pop-ups invade everything that I am doing. How can I get rid of this?
Best answer:
Answer by Vote Counter
Many AntiVirus Programs, particularly TRIAL ones load a “phantom” Trojan (or virus) into the Program, that reports you have a Virus (or Trojan “Spyware”). To rid it, use Spybot
and a GOOD Registry Cleaner, after you delete the Trial.
Sometimes, you need good PC knowledge to enter the REGISTRY and delete all References to the Trial Program..
This problem usually ONLY occurs with Trials.

Question by JDoramaKing: Can software companies do anything to prevent piracy?
It seems like most software products can easily be obtain by entering a serial number (which is stupid) or using some patch. They are smart enough to make the product. Shouldn’t they be smart enough to at least make it hard to use rather than require a serial?
Best answer:
Answer by Yoshie Master
It is incredibly dificult. Whether you like it or not, almost all software gets cracked in the end. People edit the program to remove your security and there is not much people can do about it other than delay the inevitable and provide frequent updates that update security.

Q&A: how do software companies manage their source code? how they prevent their workers from stealing code?

Question by DarthVader: how do software companies manage their source code? how they prevent their workers from stealing code?
my friend had worked for a couple software production house. once or twice he copied sources whose algorithm or programming technique he thought were cool. he doesn’t leak them to the internet or make a competitor software of his own though. does the same thing also happen to computer-thing companies like microsoft, google, norton or facebook? if not, how those companies manage the source code so none of their workers go home with a thumbdrive, say, of google docs source?
Best answer:
Answer by Christopher Langan
It’s in their contract. If they go and *abuse* the source code, they can receive ridiculously huge fines. However, I do stress on the abuse, as they could easily get away with using it personally and not leaking it. The second they leak it, however, the company will know and it will be simple to track the person who leaked it down.

What can you do to prevent yourself from getting sick in India?
Posted by PuneStuff in Pune Stuff Questions & Answers on April 25th, 2010
My mom and I are planning on going to India sometime around next month and will be returning exactly a week prior to my middle school exams. The last time I went there, I got slightly sick, fortunately, it wasn’t too severe. However, due to the little time I have in between returning and the exams, I’m hoping that I don’t end up with something severe. Anyways, what are some precautions we should take to prevent ourselves from getting sick?
