There a so many offers on make money on line are any of then profitable? Can you make mony working on line?

Absolutely right, anyone can do hot chat/live webcam show.. but IMHO its not what ur seeking for!
I asked such a question some time back.. I wanted to earn money instead of waking up early am for job.. But after lot of research, ive understand that most of them are scam..
some will tell you to click to earn money… when in reality they accumulate points, and My personal experience i got not even a cts!
Some website like freelance will give u work at home to do… some tasks can pay as much as $ 4 million/year.. BUT, if so, why do they ask for a membership? well simply because..1st some of these websites work on bid principle..so the tender starts for let say $ 300/day for X job…but it can drop to $ 30/day after people starts bidding. 2nd, a membership = give you access to jobs available, but not the type you can perform! most of these jobs requires programming skills, or language translator.. So it fits only some category of people..and these freelance company get the membership fee, making millions on people in need of money… I think its somehow not honest.
But there are ways you can earn money, I’d advise you to go to some local BPO companies, negotiate to have the job done at home, Pretty sure they’ll give u some sort of contract. Like for example online marketing agent.Its the surest way for not getting dupe. And you know with whom you are dealing with.

Am 19 working at an part time job at old navy + a car and it sucks thinking about quitting,getting too crazy at the job.I want at least $ 500 coming in a month.Thinking about having 1 of those home business with the making money ads,and working with a calling center at home but not to shore.

$ 500 a week is $ 6000 a year. . . and that would be unlikely unless you are an established artist with a strong client base. I sold about $ 2000 online in 2007 . . . but this year . . . 0! Income from art, especially for a beginner or an unknown artist, is not very promising right now. I know many successful artists who are taking other jobs to be able to afford to keep painting.
At 19 the best thing you can do for yourself is get some training and find a full-time job with some benefits, and save up to go to school.
Beware of the online jobs promising that you can make great money working from home. . . .they are more often than not scams. If you are beginning to hate your Old Navy job, you will loathe working a call-center job. Tough it out working for decent wages somewhere while you make plans for your future. It can take a few years to sort out, and in the meantime, teaching yourself to work, not spend it all but start saving, even $ 5-25 a paycheck, will establish good habits you will be thankful for in the future.

I haven’t worked a outside job in over a year. I am having a hard time finding a job. Would you list your online business on your resume? to show what i’ve been doing since their is a gap in my employment.
I’ve been applying for administrative or customer service jobs, which I have experience in.

I know exactly what you are going through. I have put it on my resume, but employers seemed to be confused “why are you looking for a job with us when you have/had your own business online” I would list it, but highlight your tasks, more than the fact that you are/were the owner.

Question by Paul: What’s the best option for customer service for small online shop?
I am building an e-commerce site and I have most aspects set. But a big problem is customer service. I have a day job and can’t take calls regarding my own business at work. What service or solution can I use to address this. I need customer service and order taking but really only need one person since it will be slow at first.
I thought maybe a virtual assistant or indian call center. But those are expensive.
Any suggestions? Thank you.

If your schedule is reliable, then you could have inquiries made via e-mail with a promise that someone will get back to them within a few hours to answer questions or confirm an order. With a small online shop, visitors obviously prefer but aren’t actually expecting a number to call for assistance and e-mail is sufficient. Putting an app on the site that lets them fill in a form is even better, because they don’t feel like their communication has disappeared into the ether.
Depending on the nature of your business, you might not find a virtual assistant very helpful beyond taking messages — customer queries typically fall on technical problems with the site or fit and colour if it’s clothing, etc. I’m not sure what the capabilities are of a V.A. service, but they could end up a little lost if the questions asked require a certain intimacy with your product.
Until you’ve been live for a few weeks or months and you know what kind of service queries are coming in, you can probably handle your own customer service with a Blackberry or just regular access to a computer.

I’d recommend you try to become a vendor via Amazon.com. That way, you have access to a massive market of buyers. Setting up your own website and hoping to steer traffic to it for simple retail operations is likely going to be an exercise in failure.

It would be just perfect if I could find a part time job from home that I can do online. For example typing, transcribing, customer service, etc. Where I can make a little extra money for a few hours a day. Does anyone know if this even exists. I’ve seen lots of work from home scams, that require you to pay them to find work. Sounds pretty weird. Any ideas, suggestions?
