RULE OF MAN (CHRISTIAN MUSIC VIDEO) by NEW INDIE ARTIST BRANDT MORAIN (song is best in top HD audio)
Posted by PuneStuff in Pune Videos on April 16th, 2012
THIS VIDEO / SONG SOUNDS BEST WHEN VIEWED IN HD (High Definition-the hottest video resolution). We use HD to give you the best Christian music video experience possible. www.BrandtMorain.com A free MP3 of this Christian song is available for free download at our website in the best music format possible (True CD quality — 320Kbps). YouTube formats do NOT give you the best music video quality. YouTube is not CD quality. Sample audio of our other songs are also available. Band Group Details: Our new Debut CD “Volume One” has had great reviews and articles from Music Review, USA Today, Alternative Press Magazine as well as contributing writers for top publications such as Rolling Stone Magazine. Our album has received substantial Radio Airplay in Phoenix AZ and Albany NY as the official music for two radio talk shows on stations KFNX 100 and Talk 1300 AM, some of the hottest radio stations in their market. Brandt Morain “Volume One” is comprised of multiple genres including 1970-80′s style Rock, Country, A Capella, Christian / Religious, a song that makes fun of Rap, Easy Listening and a few recordings that defy categorization. In order to bring you the best Christian music possible, our recording philosophy omits recording industry “innovations” such as Autotune. These devices damage a recording artists performance in our opinion, producing sterile results that have destroyed the quality of some of the best Christian songs and other great music in the industry. thefilmarchived.blogspot.com The French Resistance (French; La Résistance française) is the name used to denote the collection of French resistance movements that fought against the Nazi German occupation of France and against the collaborationist Vichy régime during World War II. Résistance cells were small groups of armed men and women (called the Maquis in rural areas), who, in addition to their guerrilla warfare activities, were also publishers of underground newspapers, providers of first-hand intelligence information, and maintainers of escape networks that helped Allied soldiers and airmen trapped behind enemy lines. The men and women of the Résistance came from all economic levels and political leanings of the French society, including émigrés; from conservative Roman Catholics (including priests), from the Jewish community, and from the ranks of liberals, anarchists, and communists. The French Résistance played a significant role in facilitating the Allies’ rapid advance through France following the invasion of Normandy on 6 June 1944, and the lesser-known invasion of Provence on 15 August, by providing military intelligence on the German defenses known as the Atlantic Wall and on Wehrmacht deployments and orders of battle. The Résistance also planned, coordinated, and executed acts of sabotage on the electrical power grid, transportation facilities, and telecommunications networks. It was also politically and morally important to France, both during the German …
Q&A: I need help creating my MySQL Database for music?
Posted by PuneStuff in Pune Stuff Questions & Answers on December 13th, 2011
Question by TheWhiteRâbbit: I need help creating my MySQL Database for music?
I’m creating a database for music in MySQL , I have 2 tables so far.
{* = primary key}
One table is Artist, which consists of the (Artist Name*, Num of Albums)
My second table is Albums which has (Album Name*, Num of Tracks, Artist Name, Genre, Record Company, Year Released)
I want to create another table which has the tracks for the Albums individually, however it seems I’m going to have a lot of redundant data, which I want least as possible. I want to know if my structure could use some tuning or if I need to restructure it from scratch.

Peronally I would do something like this:
Artist: Artist_PK, Arist_Name, … any personal data you want
You don’t need Number of Albums since this can be computed with a simple query.
Album: Album_PK, Artist_FK, Album_Genre, Album_Record, etc.
Where Artist_FK is a foreign key reference to the the Artist table.
Tracks: Tracks_PK, Album_FK, Track1, Track2, etc.
Again, Album_FK is a foreign key reference to the album.
This way all tables are links with foreign keys and you limit redundant data.

How can I check to make sure the music I download is legal?
Posted by PuneStuff in Pune Stuff Questions & Answers on November 22nd, 2011
Question by julliana: How can I check to make sure the music I download is legal?
If I know something is copyrighted I don’t download it. The free stuff I get from peer to peer programs is mostly stuff from amature church singing groups, garage bands and things I think must be not copyrighted. Sometimes I make an assumption that some obscure. never heard before, amature quality music must be freely distributed. But after reading an article today I am wondering, how can I KNOW if a song is not copyrighted or if it is? Is there a way to check? Is there an online database? Something like that?
What about really really old music (rockin robin or boogie woogie bugle boy of company b) I mean if the artist is obviously dead, is the music still protected?

How do record companies win the law suits for people downloading/sharing music files?
Posted by PuneStuff in Pune Stuff Questions & Answers on September 1st, 2011
Question by StickyIcky: How do record companies win the law suits for people downloading/sharing music files?
If the song is purchased once and you allow other people, friends, whatever to save that song to their iPod, and they can in turn save it to their library, etc, etc, etc. Is this the same as 500 people downloading from LimeWire, or sharing music otherwise?? How do the record companies win the lawsuits when there are so many ways around it with out being tracked?
The above is just one example, there are others like burning CD’s, etc. Any opinions?

And also, how is software like BitTorrent and Limewire still available without repremand for supplying users with the means to (in essance) illegally share files? Shouldn’t the record companies be targeting these like Napster, as opposed to the users?

Answer by Pfo
Your example, purchasing the song and transferring it to your friends, is in most cases undetectable. Some applications and audio files use DRM, which can help record companies track the activities of these files, including when and where it is copied and to / from whom. Record companies primarily use packet logs and statistics examined through file sharing networks to determine who to go after. They pick a number X and go after the top X offenders. Other methods of sharing files, especially offline ones, are very hard to detect, and even harder to acquire accurate evidence, and so are rarely targeted.

The Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2004 was the second Eurovision Song Contest for young singers aged 8 to 15. It was held on 20 November 2004, in Håkons Hall, Lillehammer, Norway and lasted 2 hours and 15 minutes. The theme of the competition was “Bright Nordic Winter Nights”. It was presented by Stian Barsnes Simonsen and Nadia Hasnaoui, broadcast in 20 countries and viewed by 100 million people. 18 countries participated, France and Switzerland participated for the first time. Originally 20 countries had applied to take part but Germany and Israel later pulled out. There were also reports that Ireland had planned to enter the programme. The contest was won by 9-year-old María Isabel with her song Antes Muerta Que Sencilla (Better Dead Than Plain). Dino Jelusić, who won the 2003 contest, presented the award to María. Since, María Isabel has entered the charts in not only Spain but France, Italy, Scandinavia, Latin America and released a second album. Greece, who came ninth received more sets of twelve points than the United Kingdom, who came second. France, who came sixth, were voted by all the other countries that took part, which is more than the number of countries that voted for Romania, who came fourth and Croatia, who came third. Norway was the third country of choice for this contest as the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) had originally chosen ITV of the United Kingdom to host it in Manchester. However, ITV pulled out in May 2004 due to finance and scheduling …
