Question by : What software do tv companies use to broadcast live footage such as football games etc?
Just out of interest I wanted to know what TV companies use to put out live programs such as football etc, sometimes you notice cool transitions and such that goes to a slow motion of the football goal just scored, then switches back to the football live coverage? It must be real easy software because it would take to long to do this on complex im guessing?

It’s nothing to have dozen or hundreds of people working a sporting event.
You would have an entire graphics debt doing stuff ahead of time, and at the game it’s self. They can also pull the score automatically from the score board (in most cases).
You transitions, and video clips, and photos, would be all pre-made before you even get the game.
That being said, you can look up
- VT by Newtek (NBC channel 4 in Detroit uses it)
- and the Tricaster also by Newtek. They use it for the D-leages in the NBA, and at many colleges.
(Best of all, one or two people can work the Tricaster, by selves).

This video will show you how to create a custom Serato Scratch Live MIDI Map using Denon’s DN-S3700 Direct Drive table top CD player. I tried to explain the new HYBRID mode that Denon is releasing soon. It will include the audio signal timecode from most DJ software companies like Serato. You use almost all the buttons and knobs to control everything in Scratch Live. The Platter, Pitch Slider, Reverse button and Play will be used in HYBRID mode to control the timecode.

I have a full-time job for a software company in which I can work from anywhere that I have an internet connection. I have also been extremely successful over the last 9 years playing poker online and in live action games. I am looking to move somewhere where I can play poker after work (6:00PM and later) and on the weekends. So I figure what better place to find 24/7 games than Vegas? Not to mention the WSOP coming up in June.
I have researched and found that Summerlin and Henderson seem to be the best places to live. Can anyone provide me with some specific apartment complex names that are in the good part of these cities? I just want 3-5 complex names and I’ll narrow it down from there and research them further. Any advice or suggestions at all would be greatly appreciated!!

Rebecca Estates has really nice trailers for rent. If you really must have an apartment, check out the high rise called Tuttle Air Apartments. They have 24 hour live surveillance.

Pune is a Metropolitian city, so no worries to live in Pune. But it’ll be better if she will learn few Marathi words which are used in our daily life.

My husband and I are considering a move to Chicago and have heard good things about the Naperville area, can anyone who lives there or near there tell us about it? How expensive is housing and other costs of living? Is it safe? Are there any software development companies or jobs nearby? How long is the commute to Chicago by car and by train? Which of the areas near Naperville are the best? Wheaton, Aurora, Bolingbrook, Plainfield, Warrenville, Woodridge, Romeoville, others? Fun things to do nearby? Weather? We are concerned about how hot it gets there in the summer and how cold in winter. We live near Denver now, is it better or worse weatherwise? Are the people friendly? We are a married couple in our 20s, no kids yet but we would like to start a family sometime in the next couple of years. Is this a good place to raise a family? Any info you can share would be helpful.

I dont know where pune is but guess it much like any other place – from your writing style I’m guessing you are quite clever think fast and can’t quite figure why others others don’t think like you do? It seems some people make friends easily and yes it has something to do with similar mentalities – but if your intelligence is higher then there are less people on your level and therefore the click isn’t there, if your intellect is extremely high it is a lonely world unless you dumb down and this is not healthy. Being over friendly also scares people off as you will come across as needy, look for a social group of people on your level whatever it might be and join in the activities without trying to hard to make friends just be yourself and as you get older you will realise friends are an expense many can’t afford anyway as they tend to hold you back from all you want to do or be.
