They are listed in the “pink sheets”. Your full-service broker should know all about it. Even if all you have is the ticker symbol, you still should be able to find out about the stock from an online broker.

Question by Sagar: There are 20 people on the board of directors of a publicly listed company. Each pair of people are either fri?
There are 20 people on the board of directors of a publicly listed company. Each pair of people are either friends or enemies with each other. Every person has exactly 6 enemies on the board. If every group of 3 directors form a committee, what is the total number of committees that are formed by all friends or all enemies?
Best answer:
Answer by M3
consider a 20 sided polygon (icosagon) and join all possible pairs.
color enemy pairs as red, and friend pairs as green.
consider each person a vertex, and each triangle a committee.
let there be N bi-colored triangles, then there are 2N vertices from which both colors emerge.
and if we consider any particular vertex, there are 6*13 ways for both colors emerging, ie 20*6*13 in total, so 2N = 20*6*13 , N = 780
the remaining triangles, 20c3 – 780 = 360 must be monochromatic
ie formed of all friends or all enemies

Question by ThreeD2006: When a publicly listed company files for Chap 11 bankruptcy. How much time does it have to create an exit plan
When a public company files for Chap 11 bankruptcy, and its stock continues to trade. How much time does the law allows the company to come up with a bankruptcy plan? Where can I find the filings that the company sent to the court judge? What are the different legal steps and timeline, the company needs to go through before it can exit from chapter 11?
Best answer:
Answer by just_the_facts_ma’am
The time can vary depending on the complexity of the case. You can read more info by following the 1st link below.
To find the filings, you need to get them from the court that has jurisdiction. Some of those have the info on-line, others don’t.
If the case is large enough, there is often a case management company involved, who posts info on-line. One such company is in the 2nd link below

Question by Rainbow: What does it mean that a business is NOT listed with the Better Business Bureau?
I’m evaluating a local, small, landscaping company and they are not listed in the BBB but they say they’ve been in business for over 20 years. The person on the phone sounded very good.
Are ALL legitimate businesses listed in the BBB or just if there are complaints against them?
Best answer:
Answer by Milking Cows Looks Wrong
No, but it just means BE CAREFUL. If they treat u bad, or even dont pay u, its not gonna be as easy as calling the BBB. U may have to sue or something. Not too sure….but i think thats what happens. i know for sure that bein with the BBB is always better, and it makes employees and customers feel more at ease.

If a company is listed on two markets which should I buy from?
Posted by PuneStuff in Pune Stuff Questions & Answers on January 23rd, 2013
Question by James: If a company is listed on two markets which should I buy from?
There is a company I would like to invest in. They are listed on two markets, the NYSE and the Toronto SE. Because of the differing currency obviously there is some difference in the raw statistics but is their any importance in which stock exchange I trade on?
NB: I am British, so neither is my “native” market.
Oh, and they are a Canadian company if that has any bearing.
Best answer:
Answer by Hops Aficionado
I would trade on the market with more volume on that particular stock. Higher volume indicates a more liquid market, which will typically give you better executions and tighter spreads.
