Time to look for a new job, I love call centers money is good, I have been in Timeshare /call centers for 8 years LOVE them,,, Anyone know of any opening?

BPO are generally low end jobs which the other countries more preferably US outsorce it to India to be done…..
In this generally a BPO employee receives a file frm US then he/she has to review it, pick some data and put those data on their particular software the send those data back to US…
Something like this only..
BPO includes Call Center, Medical Transcription etc..

I am a IT professional who is struggling to get a job where i can get some solid experience and grow as a professional. The problem is that i have i have only been able to pull in such jobs as: temp to hire; contract jobs; small family owned business; and a job with a big IT outsourcing company and after a year and a half got laid-off. Anyway, i do have my associates(was in the process of going back to school to get my B.S. then got laid-off), I have my A+ cert paid for by my previous employer, have experience in various branches of I.T. The jobs I’m looking at i seem to be able to perform, but, they require expert to extreme knowledge and/or experience in hardware, software, and most of all scripting: VB, Powershell, and etc. Its been almost 4yrs since i got my associates and its been that long since i actually sat down and used these scripting languages. I know i could do these things, its just i would need time to become less rusty and more familure with it and the process to achieve completion of such task that require it. Part of me feels incompetent and in other i do feel competent in what i know. Would i still be qualified even if i dont know everything they say is required to proficient in? Is it worth a try for an interview? Please, I’m looking for some sincere advise, Thank you!

You can apply for freelance writing, bookkeeping, software, transcription, online tuition or customer service work at home jobs. These companies do not require any fee and pay well . From time to time, in our monthly statement envelopes we receive from our credit cards or from mortgage companies, there is a small double sided advertising leaflet size: 6”3/4 and 3”1/2.
For example, last month I received in my mortgage statement, a leaflet that was selling me labels that I could personalize for envelopes.
I am working for a small non-profit organization and we would want to use the media to bring awareness about our non-profit organization. We have contacted several credit card companies and the people we got on the phone have no clue about who puts the leaflets in the envelopes that are sent out.
It could be that there is an outside company that is outsourcing the entire mailing process and they would also be the ones who include the advertisement.
If you would know how the process works or if you work with that kind of business, please let us know who to contact for sending out this kind of leaflets for the non profit organization.

It’s called advertising. Contact the public relations or consumer affairs department of your credit card company and they will get you in touch with the right group. It won’t be inexpensive.

I have VACANT(rental) property that has been for sale for awhile. I owe $ 52,000 but the best offer I have gotten is $ 27,000.(I have a default judgement against me because Im so far behind on payments) My Investor/Broker/ listing agent has told me a little about short sale. He says he has worked out a deal with my mortgage company. The BPO is $ 23,000–(there’s a contract for $ 27,000) and Im to sign a promissary note for $ 10,000 to pay with 0% interest over the next 10 years. Im not too sure if this is such a good deal or not. The courts told me I can sell the house(s) until December 1, 2007. Should I hold out for a better deal?

How long do you plan on holding out. If you default, you will get a 1099 for the loan balance for which you will have to claim as income and pay tax on it.

I applied for a job on careerbuilder. I have no experience except for fast food. I went to the first interview and the guy I talked to was nice and I asked me what does direct marketing mean to me, and I had no clue what the answer was but I got it right! I said sellng an item quickly and direct. Well he asked me to come in for a 2nd interview 2morrow from 9:30 am until 5:30 pm. He said the pay ranges from $ 500 to $ 700. Is this that job where people harrasss other people all day in business suits trying to convince them to buy a product! PLEASE HELP or any other information you can provide me with to let me know how do I stay away from these corny jobs!
I do not want to walk around harrasing people all day! Because I hated when people harrased me!
