“The digital tracking and surveillance of school-aged kids has been growing. Much attention has been given to the phenomenon of corporate tracking of kids’ online activities, activities that violate the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). The law, originally adopted in 1998, requires Web sites aimed at kids to get parental consent befoSre gathering information about those users who are under 13 years. Many companies, including a Disney subsidiary, have violated it. Corporate marketing interests, most notably Facebook, are fighting proposed revisions to COPPA. A second front in the tracking of young people has gotten far less attention. Schools across the country are adopting a variety of different tools to monitor students both in school and outside school. Among these tools are RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) tags embedded in school ID cards, GPS tracking software in computers, and even CCTV video camera systems. i hate my job , i am 25 years old , i have no kids,.. i like to spend my time at home, i have internet on my laptop and i also hate customer service jobs, i hate dealing with people,. (speaking to nasty , meanie people) i prefer, non talking job , and flexible hours , decient pay to pay rent , food, transportation, girlie stuff, and still save,.. does any one know any stay home jobs via internet , that are not scams?

The National Animal Identification System, otherwise known as NAIS, is a government-run program in the United States intended to permit improved animal health surveillance by identifying and tracking specific animals. The NAIS is the result of extensive lobbying from large factory farms “agribusiness” to protect themselves against possible liability when an epidemic occurs. Administered at the federal level by the Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service, a branch of the United States Department of Agriculture, NAIS will also be overseen by state animal health boards. While the federal program is voluntary, money received by some states, tribes, and non-profit entities from the USDA through cooperative agreements has been used to make parts or all of the program mandatory. Some of the concerns with NAIS include financial, civil rights, and religious aspects of the program. Financially, a system as vast as NAIS will undoubtedly be extremely costly, Additionally, there is concern that the costs of complying with the program will drive small farmers out of business due to the cost of having each animal registered. Small farmers and families will have to register and pay a registration fee for every head of livestock or poultry, while corporate farms with large herds or flocks of more than 30000 chickens will only have to pay the fee equivalent of owning one animal. Question by Walid Nasr: Why do limo companies charge more for vehicles destined to drive kids to prom then they do for regular rentals?
We’ve been shopping around for a limo for prom, and most companies have different rates depending on the event. Why do they charge 4 times more for prom then for regular rentals? If it’s just a matter of service differences (drinks, flashy lights, etc), is it possible to order the car for the regular pricing and still have it take the kids to their prom? Thank you!

They do it because kids are messy and they know every kid wants to go to the prom in a limo so they charge extra because they can. ( and I’m sure they add a bunch of special things inside of it or the occasion. )
