What kind of jobs would be good for someone with Asperger’s Syndrome and is a visual thinker?

Question by Naive Married Man: What kind of jobs would be good for someone with Asperger’s Syndrome and is a visual thinker?
I’m very recluse and I haven’t been successful in positions where I have to have strong social connections to advance or to do my job (I was a manager in retail, I tried customer service, and I tried sales – all ending in failure due to poor social situations)….
What kind of job could I have without a degree and what degrees should I go after? I’m great with math, computers, hobbies, money, visual cohesion (putting outfits together), and inventory.

I have four years cashiering experience with some customer service skills; No crazy hours (nothing past 10pm) and I don’t want to be a barista

Home improvement stores are good if you don’t want to work past 10 – most of them close by 9 anyway.
Beware though, Lowe’s front end managers are weird about scheduling breaks and lunches. I used to get sent to lunch at 3:00 when I came in at 1:30, then they never wanted to give me 15-minute breaks in the evening. So I would frequently be stuck at the return desk until closing at 9:00.

Question by ilovecoach: What sort of jobs would be suitable for a recent Economics major?
I’m graduating from the University of Texas this spring and it’s time to start looking for jobs! What sort of jobs would be suitable for a recent undergraduate student with an Economics major, Spanish minor and certificate in Business Administration. I’ve also worked as a waitress before (customer service experience) and in an insurance company during light paper work. I sort of have my eyes set on banking (but what positions?), real estate analyst, and human resources (most need experience though…). Please help!

I don’t like to be in one place for any extended period of time and would love to have a job that embraced and required this. I have a bachelors in criminal justice and about 4 years work experience in customer service and a little bit of IT support experience.

why is outsourcing jobs to other countries allowed, especially when our country needs jobs for our own people?

Question by jamie: why is outsourcing jobs to other countries allowed, especially when our country needs jobs for our own people?
Every time I call any 1800 number for customer service its someone I have trouble understanding, usually from the Philippines or India. Corporations in America need to keep jobs in the U.S, if something doesn’t happen we will be a 3rd world country before you know it, if were not already.

What are some entry level jobs you can get at a newspaper or other kinds of publishers?
Posted by PuneStuff in Pune Stuff Questions & Answers on April 17th, 2013
Question by Sheller: What are some entry level jobs you can get at a newspaper or other kinds of publishers?
I don’t have any real jounalistic education, but I have lots of experience in editing and revising essays, customer service, working with a team, and stuff like that. I currently work as a research writer, but it doesn’t pay very well (but can I use it to my advantage on a resume?) Are there receptionist jobs, various assistant jobs, copying? What can I reasonably expect?
I don’t think so Tim
That’s just a tad too entry level for my liking
