BPO and Software field is emerging in a giant rate(This question is mainly concerned about india). But all the projects and processes we are getting are mainly from US. What if US government prevents all the US companies from giving their project and outsourcing to some other third party countries like India?
I know, it can not be done within a single day. But somehow if it is done, what will be the future of all those peoples who are in the IT field?

I don’t think they’ll ever be able to stop jobs from leaving the U.S. and going oversees. The U.S. govt didn’t stop it when it was the manufacturing jobs, I don’t think they will do it with the IT jobs either. I’d be more worried about other countries undercutting the Indian software engineers on price. Indonesia, China, Mexico, and now Russia will start doing the same thing for less money.

My cousin is a MCA graduate, would wish to work from home for any BPO projects for any Indian or foreign companies. He also being Law graduate would be much more comfortable for Legal BPO services for U.S Law firms. Pl advice
