Here So many things like starting from ANC classes, diet advise, physiotherapy, Newborn Screening, stem cell banking, vaccines and genetic advise is available.I am very fortunate that i could choose what all things were best suiting for my baby..when i was pregnant,i attended ANC classes,diet advise,exercises advise and most importantly newborn screening also.Not many hosp.where my relatives and friends deliverd know about this.But as i received a full fleged advise why shou.d i choose this,i opted for it.I am very very happy that i got to know about it when i was pregnant and i could think and decided to go for it.it screened my baby for 101 disorders which was not possible for even my sister who deliverd in US last year,they screend only for 7 disorders.
Things like stem cell banking is also a very good thing for those who already have disorder like thallasemia in their family..many optional vaccines have been advised for my baby which would make her resistent for some diseases.I am fortunate and want to share this with you because i would want you all to take benefit of advanced technology and facilities available in India…

Was there an actual question in all that crap ?
And just for the record, don’t be so ignorantly willing to accept Stem Cell research as a silver bullet. Sure, it might have worked a few times, but the fact is the proceedure merely shoots stem cells into an area and they hope the stem cells work. The truth medically is that stem cells can become anything. So they replicate good parts that were damaged in the brain and make you better, OR they could replicate cancer cells and spread in your body. That is why the right wing fought against this for a while because the left wing was all willing to sacrifice potential children in the name of scientific breakthrough to help people but the right knew that it wasn’t a for sure cure and couldn’t justify killing a potential human for a “maybe”. Which is why it is such a political subject.
