I have experience in both marketing admiminstration and outside sales but my recent work experience has been related to customer service, in a call center environment. I want to only be working in the marketing field though, that’s why I went back to school for it.

trying meeting marketing folks for info interviews on LinkedIn http://www.linkedin.com/home or professional groups in your area. you might even try volunteering or interning to get a foot in the door. also work with your school placement office as they often have connections.

I am starting a Software as a service company or cloud computing, and i want to put a cool looking cloud ontop of the name of the company, but clouds are normally seen as a negative thing, should i do incorporate it?

Not sure where you heard that clouds are a negative thing. Never heard that….
Since your service is cloud computing I can’t imagine anyone not ‘getting that’….
Your logo is your YOUR identity. As long as it is done professionally I don’t think anyone really even notices it after they sign on the dotted line.

I’m in total mess please help me. I don’t know how to deal with this situation?
Hi I’m sruthi a girl from India, I’m having a problem.
Well I’m studying chartered accountancy currently I’m in 2nd stage after I pass this stage I have to do 3rd stage, but from past 3years I’m not able to pass this stage even in the latest attempt I failed with just narrow 2marks again I have to wait for 6months to give my attempt to get through this stage. I’m feeling so pathetic and depressed that I’m not able to pass this stage soon many of my friends have possessed CA degrees but me from past 3years I have been in same stage, I’m not feeling like fighting I’m feeling like I’m defeated every time. My parents are feeling so bad because of me relatives are asking about me and my studies and I’m the reason for their loss of pride. I don’t know how do I be alive and study even for these 6months I’m getting bored to study same crap every time , my birthday falls in October so even this year there will be no happiness on my birthday. I’m feeling so alone and feeling so depressed sometimes I’m feeling like I’m waste to live on earth but I can’t suicide my parents will feel so bad.
As I’m girl if I won’t clear this exam and next stage in 1.5or 2years they may even make me get married which I hate to the core I wanna become a chartered accountant and marry to the guy whom I love I’m feeling so tensed. I don’t know what to do? I have to pass mere 3subjects so 3months for preparation is too much so I want to do a part time job in some call centre or some bpo and earn for 1month. I know how I would feel while doing a job which is not competent to the skills I earned. I’m feeling so terribly ashame on my selves I’m feeling like I’m no use. Even if I get the chartered accountant degree after I clear this stage and next stage I may be of less value. I’m fearing a lot. I want some moral support and please help me .. I don’t know how to get out of this situation?

I have a phschological disorder, its basically where i get depressed when someone with a psychological disease feels like they have the right to post their problems on yahoo answers

What do u think? A young man working in BPO is not experienced to any customer contacts and Social transactions! Will be a loser in life , if he contnues the job?
He is not experienced to any social exposure, so will he be a loser!
Are people working in BPO’s are losers basically?

Additionally, would like to know that is Conducting or Doing a Business of Medical claim Halal or Haraam ??

The reason why health insurance is like a form of gambling is that a person pays a sum of money which becomes the property of the insurance company; if he falls sick or has an accident he will benefit, otherwise his money is gone. Moreover, the benefits he gains may be equal to what he has paid, or they may be more, or less. This involves jahaalah (buying something sight unseen) and undue risk, or consuming wealth unlawfully. It also means that one of the two parties will suffer a loss. I wish that some of the Muslims or wise people would set up cooperative insurance institutions that are in accordance with Islamic sharee’ah, the basic idea of which would be for people to cooperate in making payments to a specific account (that is not owned by any third party), so that if any one of them falls sick or has an accident, he will be compensated, with the consent of his partners. There would be nothing wrong with paying a salary to those who take care of this account, or with investing the money in another company according to a certain level of profit. And Allaah is the source of strength.

As call centers recruits technical associates having diploma in compuerts to solve queries of their clients and generate revenues from them and give a small part of this revenue as salary to their technical associate by taking his/her service at night.In the similar way can this technical associate as an individual can directly obtain business from some of the international client and become a self enterpreneur?
If it possible then give addresses of such clients so that business may be discussed with them.

We’re an Indian couple living in the US. I have an engineering degree and she has a business degree. At first only I worked and I was in biomedical engineering. I had the opportunity to work for a software company and make a lot more money but chose not to because (1) I like the biomedical field a lot more and (2) she told she wanted to have her own career. So got an accountancy job. And everything was fine. We were able to get a much better house, cars, etc.
But lately she has been complaining to me and causing our marriage to fall apart. She doesn’t like having a job and wants to quit. But now with our new mortgage it’s no longer an option. If I KNEW she didn’t want to have the feminist ideal of her own career than I would have ACCEPTED the software job but now it’s too late!
If she quits her accountancy job we may get in trouble with her mortgage. But she acts like I’m at fault for forcing my wife to work. I’d like to hear other opinions because we come from a traditional Indian family where only the husbands work and I’ve been getting a lot crap from relatives saying I’m a BAD HUSBAND for “making” my wife work. Yet they don’t understand that she’s the one that wanted a career in the first place and after plans are made she can’t just stop!
