A lot epends on where you’re working. If you’re working in Alberta, booming because of the oil price spikes, with low taxes, you’ll be doing a LOT better than somebody working in Paduka, Kentucky, a low income area.. But a low income area in Nova Scotia will be a lot worse off than New York City. So it’s all relative.
I sent you the tax calculator for your earlier question, what you might want to do is look online, maybe Craigslist, workopolis, monster.ca, jobshop.ca, and find an area witht he kind of job you’re looking for, with wages, then use the calculator to see what that measn in terms of a take home.
One thing worth noting is that most Canadian provinces have a higher minimum wage than most US states.. I know you’re not looking for minimum wage jobs, but that has an impact on the lower end of the income range, tending to raise it.

I have a job interview coming up, and I am trying to figure out a base salary. Any ideas on how much someone in the call center would make? This would not be a sales position, but support position.
Thanks!

Q&A: Can a caregiver working abroad like London or Canada could save enough for his or her future?

Question by bel m: Can a caregiver working abroad like London or Canada could save enough for his or her future?
I am a teacher and I already lost interest in my job a long time ago.I am jobless for a while and I am planning to enroll for a caregivers program.Like doctors in the Philippines who would study nursing,it seems that the trend nowadays is that teachers who are not earning enough w/ their profession would either join the call center industry or work as a caregiver abroad.Such is the reality of life here in the Philippines.Just like teachers who have gone earlier to work as caregivers abroad, soon I will be following in their footsteps. My question is – Will it helped me save enough for my future?

yes, if you go abroad you earn much, but not at all, even you have a lot of money you spent it all by sending it to your family. working in our country (phils.)much better, you can take good care of your family , if you have the oppurtunity working abroad try it, you’re the one who answer that quistion coz we really dont know yet what the inside of you. your wants and needs.you know i wish to be a teacher but her i am now working as domestic helper abroad, but im so bless that my employer was good and kind, you know being away with your family is painful coz. you realy dont what will happen, Ask God guidance if it is her will that you can work abroad.God bless you.

You can work from home doing like pizza pizza or pizza hut or other work from home canadian based jobs. I live in Toronto Ontario and it took me like about 40 minutes to do everything I need to do make your profile then apply for the jobs. You have to pay for training witch kind of sucks but it’s not that pricey and it is worth it. At the end of it all you will be getting paid after. Oh yeah and training is from home.

thefilmarchive.org DVD: www.amazon.com William Bruce Jenner (born October 28, 1949) is a former US track and field athlete, motivational speaker, socialite and television personality. He is known for having won a gold medal for decathlon in the Montreal 1976 Summer Olympics. Following his Gold medal, his professional career evolved into being a television celebrity. Since the 2007 debut of Keeping Up with the Kardashians he has been known as the step-father of the Kardashian sisters. Jenner placed third in the decathlon at the 1972 US Olympic trials and finished in tenth place at the 1972 Munich games. His success prompted him to devote himself to an intense training regimen, while also selling insurance outside training hours. He acknowledged that he was supported and subsidized by his then wife, Chrystie Crownover, who worked as an airline stewardess. In the era before professionalism was allowed in athletics, this kind of training was unheard of. During that period he spent eight hours a day at the San Jose City College track. Centered around Bert Bonnano, the coach at SJCC, San Jose at the time was a hotbed for training aspiring Olympic athletes, including Jenner, along with Millard Hampton, Andre Phillips, John Powell, Mac Wilkins, Al Feuerbach and others. In 1974 and 1976, Jenner was the American champion in the event. At the 1976 Summer Olympics in Montreal, he won the gold medal in the Decathlon, setting the world record of 8618 points. The world record was broken …

Canadians get first chance for jobs in Canada.
Why would we import someone who only has the low level skills to do such a simple job, when there are unemployed Canadians who can fill the position ?
