Please heck no! I don’t want to be a call center agent! It’s like EW! I’d rather put my own business and make it grow. That’s all.

Q&A: is being a customer service associate at magic waters boring?

Question by ikenbear: is being a customer service associate at magic waters boring?
im 15 and looking for a job. I may be getting a job there soon but i heard from someone who used to work there as a customer service associate that it was really boring, and the hours were random.
Does anybody know anything about what i am talking about? or just about working at magic waters in general?

Best answer:

Answer by Mary
I am not sure what Magic Waters is…but I can say I have done customer service for 5 years and LOVE IT….i have learned over the years it is as fun as you make it and you have to play with your guest/customers…….learn to ‘juice every jam’ (make the best out of a bad/sticky situation) you get into and your life in general will be better. But if you go into the job with the attitude that it sucks and is boring that is all you will get out of it.
Good Luck and HAVE FUN!

euronews reporter – Is the mafia’s dirty money being laundered in Romania?

www.euronews.com Using waste to launder dirty money. That’s what Italian prosecutors believe is going on Romania. The money in question is the so-called treasure of one of Sicily’s most powerful mafia bosses, former Palermo mayor Vito Ciancimino. Prosecutors in Italy believe the company running Europe’s largest landfill site, on the outskirts of Bucharest, acts as a front for Massimo Ciancimino, Don Vito’s son. And it is a lucrative business. Massimo Ciancimino is at the heart of a major investigation by the Italian judiciary, which has so far failed to prove any links between these Romanian companies and the heir of Don Vito’s fortune. Euronews speaks to him and others involved in this case, as we try to get to the bottom of this treasure mystery. Find us on: Youtube bit.ly Facebook www.facebook.com Twitter twitter.com

This is in normal Katsuya route. Taiichi gave info about a site which has different company’s information and told Katsuya not to get in the site unless at certain hours and must use his home computer to do so. Katsuya forgot and entered the site from his work computer and whole place got virus attack. So this site contains secretive information about different companies and probably is illegal. When Katsuya asked him why Taiichi made such site and that it is bad thing to do, Taiichi was giving Katsuya attitude. Katsuya decided to wear his glasses, and this happened. This is only scene in the entire game where Taiichi is an uke unless you count orgy as one. Sorry for Taiichi but everyone else Enjoy~ Oh this was a request scene. Also I have another video which contains Katsuya actually having sex not just putting ice in so watch that one as well. ***Copyright Disclaimer Under Section 107 of the Copyright Act 1976, allowance is made for “fair use” for purposes such as criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching, scholarship, and research. I was in Customer service for the last 12 years. Then quit in early 2006. I went back to being a CNA in late?

Question by rainedrop61: I was in Customer service for the last 12 years. Then quit in early 2006. I went back to being a CNA in late?
2006. I quit that job in March of this year when I found out the lady in charge was lieing to me about my clients. Then my Dr., refused to allow me to go back to work because Im bipolar and I need to get my meds regulated. So I can’t pass a physical to get another job. So I did my resume up and made 2 resumes. One for CNA work. One for Customer Service work. Because with customer service jobs I don’t need a physical. Now Im getting job interviews., My question is should I have made 2 seperate resumes up? Will anyone find out? I have a customer service job tomorrow for a check intocash place.

Best answer:

Answer by highly_motivate
Yes, you should definitely have two separate resumes. Each resume tailored towards the type of position you are actively seeking. No one not find out if you do not tell. Not to mention, no one can discriminate against because of your medical condition. Especially, considering your condition can be regulated. Do not worry. You will be fine.

Do public companies have to disclose the cost of an acquisition if the company being acquired is small?

Question by B Slate: Do public companies have to disclose the cost of an acquisition if the company being acquired is small?
Basically I am interestest in finding out if a company listed on NASDAQ that purchased two other website companies recently has to file the price that they paid anywhere, like in their 10-K. They do mention the purchase of these companies in the 10-K, but there is no mention of the price. On the other hand, they purchased another, much larger website, and the price they paid for it was specified in the 10-K. Are there any supplemental filings that might have the price paid for the smaller companies? Thanks very much.

Best answer:

Answer by broomgirl2000
There is no disclosure requirement for immaterial purchases, according to Statement of Financial Accounting Standards No. 141, Business Combinations. I’m not aware of any other filings that would mention the price paid for the smaller companies. You could possibly find out that information by asking someone who was actually involved with the acquisitions.

Why does the US corporate media rarely, if ever, talk about the problem of labor being offshored?

Question by S O: Why does the US corporate media rarely, if ever, talk about the problem of labor being offshored?
All we seem to hear about on the corporate news (Fox, MSNBC, CNN, ABC… take your pick), is talk simply about “high unemployment,” with little if any mention of one of the biggest reasons behind it, which seems to be that the US has been hemorrhaging jobs to China and India for decades. Could it be that there might be a pro-corporate “bias” in our mainstream media (which is just as significant, if not more so, as any left wing or right wing bias that we pretty much all know exists)?

Walgreens is one of the latest:
Source: Economic Times of India

8 Jan 2010, 0300 hrs IST, ET Bureau

NEW DELHI: US’ largest drugstore chain Walgreens on Thursday announced a 10-year outsourcing deal with India’s BPO provider Genpact.

As part of the contract, Walgreens will shift its accounting processes and jobs to Genpact, a move that will involve transfer of at least 500 jobs.

This is Genpact’s fourth-large deal in past three months, signaling a gradual bounce back in the global BPO business market
Capitalist and proud – This is a problem that has been created by people who spread the exact same myth’s that you are expousing here. My problem is with the Reaganomics, “Free Market” folks who either don’t give a dam about this country if they can make a few extra bucks, are the majority who are buying into this nonsense and as a result contributing to the selling the US out without even realizing it.

Best answer:

Answer by Searcher 5.0
Seems simple doesn’t it. We need jobs…but keep sending them to other countries….hmmmm??? I don’t think it takes a genius to figure out the solution. F the corporations…tax them to hell if they outsource.
