Are there any real legit work at home jobs in the New York area? It could be anything – data entry, customer service – I’m willing to do anything that I’m able to. I’m really interested in working at home, and I’m trying to do some research on it but a lot of things that come up says that I have to pay fees and whatnot. Does anybody work from home that have any ideas? Any help would be great! Thanks.

You can apply for freelance writing, bookkeeping, software, transcription, online tuition or customer service work at home jobs. These companies do not require any fee and pay well . List of companies(with websites) offering genuine work at home jobs is available at http://wa7.info . Many of these companies have been in business for several years

Looking for a job experience in customer service in the hotel industry, studying bussiness administration lacking 1 year to finish, but im looking for something diferent can anyone help me?
Im interested in something that has to do with business i have done enough with hotels would something diferent that has not to do with hotels.

I’m guessing you’re not Panamanian, or you would be looking somewhere else. If you have your work permit in order it shouldn’t be a problem. Most hotels will consider hiring you as long as you speak Spanish and English and your permits are in order.
If you don’t have your permits in order, I’m sad to say that you might have a tough time getting a job. Maybe you can get lucky and they sponsor your visa/permit for you to work with them, but that’s a whole other thing.

If you work in a call center how do you feel about your job? How long have you worked there? Who do you work for?
I used to be on outbound and inbound phone campaigns mostly for AT&T services but several others. Now I have been an online chat for AT&T for about a year. My job sucks sometimes but it is a great job when you think about it.I just recently got to start working from home!

Hi there,
In my opinion, there are good online jobs available. Over the last 4 years I have been working online as a virtual customer service rep for a credit card company. It’s honestly a very easy job—I mainly answer e-mails, add features and address general inquiries.
If I can give one piece of advice though when looking for an online job—NEVER pay a start up fee to join a work at home company or directory. Very few legitimate companies will require you to pay them in order for them in turn to pay you. It defeats the point! Moreover, there are plenty of free sites available!
Depending on your skill set—there is a huge range in employment opportunities you might be interested in, both part time or full time—anywhere from data entry and transcription services—to virtual customer care—to writing articles/product reviews to webpage design.
For a list of very good companies and directories that I’ve been successful with and also a guide to avoiding online business scams see:

sounds like a scam to me. why would they bother paying postage to send something to you & then pay postage to ship it again ?
yes it is a scam & illegal. you could get arrested

Also, which is the most lucrative and viable field in BPO, to start with. I will be deeply appreciative for any kind of advice and also may be a couple of references as well !!!

Firstly, write a business plan including a mission and vision statement. Include all the relevent factors such as a target market etc. Decide if you want to be in a partnership, a sole trade or a company (each has its own advantages and disadvantages).
Secondly you need to be able to finance your business, some methods may include:
- owner’s equity
- mortgages
- overdrafts
- bank bills
- leasing
- trade credit
- venture capital
- grants
- debentures
My recommentation along with this is to hire an accountant. The reason most business fail is because of cash flow problems.
Thirdly, prepare the business:
- Create a customer base
- Have a marketing plan to get you there – consider the 4P’s – pricing methods, product, place and promotion
- Search for potential suppliers
- Employ the right staff
- Set up a good management structure
Then finally make the business happen!!!

In order to make all these jobs….pay all these employees…..someone has to buy a ticket and go to / watch the soccer game… Americans do not like soccer…. ergo they do not buy the tickets….they do not go to the games….they do not watch it on TV

The only soccer teams in America are at the collegiate level….. nobody wants to watch professional soccer in America……..the major soccer magazine in America is only published four times a year….nobody buys it so they are putting it on the internet FOR FREE…..
