Julius Henry “Groucho” Marx (October 2, 1890 — August 19, 1977) was an American comedian and film and television star. He is known as a master of quick wit and widely considered one of the best comedians of the modern era. His rapid-fire, often impromptu delivery of innuendo-laden patter earned him many admirers and imitators. He made 13 feature films with his siblings the Marx Brothers, of whom he was the third-born. He also had a successful solo career, most notably as the host of the radio and television game show You Bet Your Life. His distinctive appearance, carried over from his days in vaudeville, included quirks such as an exaggerated stooped posture, glasses, cigar, and a thick greasepaint mustache and eyebrows. These exaggerated features resulted in the creation of one of the world’s most ubiquitous and recognizable novelty disguises, known as “Groucho glasses”, a one-piece mask consisting of horn-rimmed glasses, large plastic nose, bushy eyebrows and mustache. Groucho Marx was, and is, the most recognizable and well-known of the Marx Brothers. Groucho-like characters and references have appeared in popular culture both during and after his life, some aimed at audiences who may never have seen a Marx Brothers movie. Groucho’s trademark eye glasses, nose, mustache, and cigar have become icons of comedy—glasses with fake noses and mustaches (referred to as “Groucho glasses”, “nose-glasses,” and other names) are sold by novelty and costume shops around the world …

Q&A: Is there a good Tae Kwon Do school anywhere along Makati, Guadalupe, Mandaluyong, Ortigas, Cubao and Marikina?

Question by Dead Bored Person: Is there a good Tae Kwon Do school anywhere along Makati, Guadalupe, Mandaluyong, Ortigas, Cubao and Marikina?
I would like to learn Tae Kwon Do but I do not know where to start. Im in the Philippines and live in Marikina and work in Makati for a BPO company. My work usually puts me on the night shift and I need a Tae Kwon Do clinic that is nearby my work place or is along the route I travel from home to work, namely Makati, Guadalupe, Mandaluyong, Ortigas, Cubao and Marikina. I’m new to the sport (actually I dont have any sport =p) and would like to have someone or a group that could mentor me. I am eager to learn and currently doing common exercises (running, push-ups, etc.) to prepare myself for Tae Kwon Do training.
Thank you and I hope that I can be refered to a good intructor, clinic or school soon so I can begin my training.

ho believe me running and push ups is about 5% of what you need your legs will wreck for the first few.
as for classes im not sure but just go to gyms/ school halls any sort of open area that is used for sports
and you are bound to find classes
also search google for local areas eg taekwondo Makati and browse around.
just 2 notes 1) Taekwondo is filled with fake dojos that will scam you for money, type in mcdojo (google) watch out for these
2) people say that it can’t be used for street defence at times it wouln’t be the best but it can be used just other styles seem more street wise
but it will keep you so fit its ridiculous.
your legs will hurt because running doesnt excercise the muscles that you will be using for Taekwondo
good luck with it

Q&A: Does anyone know who puts the advertising leaflets along with the monthly credit card statements we receive?
Posted by PuneStuff in Pune Stuff Questions & Answers on January 12th, 2012
Question by : Does anyone know who puts the advertising leaflets along with the monthly credit card statements we receive?
From time to time, in our monthly statement envelopes we receive from our credit cards or from mortgage companies, there is a small double sided advertising leaflet size: 6”3/4 and 3”1/2.
For example, last month I received in my mortgage statement, a leaflet that was selling me labels that I could personalize for envelopes.
I am working for a small non-profit organization and we would want to use the media to bring awareness about our non-profit organization. We have contacted several credit card companies and the people we got on the phone have no clue about who puts the leaflets in the envelopes that are sent out.
It could be that there is an outside company that is outsourcing the entire mailing process and they would also be the ones who include the advertisement.
If you would know how the process works or if you work with that kind of business, please let us know who to contact for sending out this kind of leaflets for the non profit organization.
Thanks

It’s called advertising. Contact the public relations or consumer affairs department of your credit card company and they will get you in touch with the right group. It won’t be inexpensive.

Read a lot, try improving your business knowledge. Participate in debates, quizzes and other activities particularly related to your field. Join forums and online groups. Try a part time job in during your holidays.
In short your resume should potray you as a hard working and focussed person.
Apart from MBA, you can also do CA, CWA, CFA , CMA , CPA or any such professional courses. You may even try for a law degree if you are interested. Get a aptitude test done to know what field would suit you better.
