Question by Douglas McKetchup: Which car rental companies allow me to take the car across the US border and leave it there?
I am traveling from edmonton, alberta to minneapolis, minnesota, and i am wondering if any companies let you rent the car in edmonton and leave it in minneapolis because it is a longer distance. I am a canadian citizen.

Most rental companies won’t let you pick up a car in Canada and drop it off in the US anymore, however one company,Alamo, still will(although rather “pricey”)-I tried putting in your info on their website (Edmonton-Minneapolis) and it said “no cars available”(I picked a couple dates out of thin air). When I tried Winnipeg to Minneapolis it worked and gave me several cars to pick from.I suggest you try their website with your exact info-or perhaps try calling their 1-877 number for more info.
