I am assuming you mean $ 3,000 – $ 3,500. The best known maker of high end is Alienware ( http://www.alienware.com/ ). Their highest end desktop (the ALX-X58) starts at $ 3,700, so I’d go with the next best Area-51 X58 and configure it with some upgrades available in the online configuration tool. If it were me, once I select to configure the Area-51, I’d first select the “gaming” setup. Then downgrade the processor from 2.93 to 2.66 to save $ 500, then spend that $ 500 on what’s more important for gaming than CPU: a better video card.

    Hey, you could get a computer with the above things for 600$ , not 3500$ !

    This company is reputed in offering gaming computers, but they aren’t cheap. You could always just go with a PS3 or Xbox 360.

    transcend 667/(853 think so)
    altec lansing(good at bass delivery)
    western digital might help u better
    prefer lgasus for dvd drives
    try asus,if u insist intel get the latest coz they change the chipsets config at rapid states.
    sound card ‘ll be included in mb itself..
    apc ups.
    any thng could help u.
    logitech,, they help u while playing games too.
