I am doing my first year engineering in Pune university . The syllabus is same for all branches for first year . I have gone through both basic mech. and electronics , but still confused . How do i decide over this decision ? Is there any online tests to find field meant for me?

Electronics is actually more useful in your everyday life rather than Mechanical so go for it

I would think the university psychology department would have aptitude and interest tests available. Have you checked?
There are also many online tests if you do a search below are two.
