How do you find an Entry level non experience needed job, when even simple jobs want you to have experience?

Question by bestos22: How do you find an Entry level non experience needed job, when even simple jobs want you to have experience?
I’m looking in craiglists. And all the jobs say you need to have superb communication skils and experience. I have none of that,
but i have computer, problem solving and that kind of creative skills. So the only missing thing is communication skills, and also what is missing is OPPORTUNITIES for Entry level. Everything you need years of experience or talking..

So how do i get a job? I’m 27 by the way, kicked from last job last year because of bad health. And by the way Temp agencies don’t have faith on me even if i tell them i can try Reception, customer service jobs.

Sometimes you just have to be creative. For example, I wanted to get into pharmaceutical sales, but they all require at least a couple years experience. It drove me crazy because how are you supposed to get your foot in the door??? Well, I took a pharmaceutical sales course, and I did a preceptorship (followed a doctor around for a day) and wrote up a report to take to an interview, and I asked another rep I knew to let me follow her around for the day. In the meantime, I got a job in retail sales – which is not the same as outside sales, but I wanted to get ANY kind of experience under my belt.

It took dedication and years of persistance of working hard, but eventually it paid off and I was offered a job in promotional merchandise sales. A different industry, but still in the sales direction.

Go to Microsoft.com and check out their resume templates to get some ideas to spruce up your resume. Then blanket your resume around town – even if they are not hiring, ask them to keep your resume on file for future positions. Thank them for keeping you in mind. Put your resume on CareerBuilders.com and Monster.com, etc.

Determination and a little creativity will get you the right job in the end! :)
