Question by Luke: Can security companies see an expunged felony on your record?
I was a security officer for years up until I was charged and convicted of a felony. I am now getting the felony expunged would I be able to be a secuirty officer again? When they do a record check would it be visible to them?

It would depend on how deep the check is. Probably yes.

An expunged crime doesn’t give back the right to carry a weapon again. Try explaining that lack on an application. Also, there a plenty of private data bases with the info. I wouldn’t count on getting a security job.

If you are applying for an ARMED security position, you will need a government issued license. For the purpose of obtaining a license, there is no such thing as expunging a record. In order to regain gun rights, you need a PARDON.
